Mr Monkey wonders what happened to this system. It seems more than a decade ago someone what trying desperately to explain this system to OrangePanda (she was a wee girl in elementary school and really could care less. Just give her the books damn it!). Have computers done away with Dewie's system (is this how you spell Dewie? I'm so sorry Mr Dewie if I am spelling your name wrong)? Or does the Dewie Decimal System still exist and I use it and I just don't know it?
As you might be able to tell, I'm lost in the Library if I don't have the computer pointing me to the correct aisle.
Mr Monkey does not use the DDS. He uses the alphabet. And many many categories. And no he hasn't gone paperless. He doesn't trust those demon-run computers. He knows that hamster is in there running on the wheel to power it and he just feels sorry for the guy (he also thinks that the hamster is due for a heart attack and then what would happen to all his files!!!) No thank you, says Mr Monkey. Paper it is.
