A Better Day

Today was a better day. Whatever freak chemical problem I had yesterday had passed. I did have a slight freak out this morning as I was putting on my make-up. I realized that my eyelid on my right eye was swollen. I text-ed my friend to find out if it was possible to have pink eye and not have it itch. Apparently not. So I guess my allergies were just really bad. My eye appears normal thankfully. I really didn't want to try to find a doctor on a Friday. Doctors don't seem to work on Fridays. Or maybe that's just dentists.

I feel like the tv gods might be on my side right now. I just said to someone yesterday that I wished the Big Bang Theory came on more than once a week because the nerdy characters made me at home. And low and behold, there's a marathon tonight!! Lots of dvr-ing. I wonder if anyone else has that moment when they're half-way through an episode, near the end of a commercial break and they realize, "Holy Crap! I can fast-forward! This isn't live tv!" Yep...sadly happens to me more often than I'd like to admit.

I went to the store yesterday and got the stuff to make one of my favorite comfort foods. My mom used to make this tomato-y pasta with corn in it. Usually it was when I was sick. But I've been on a tomato kick lately, so I snatched up the ingredients and I'm going to make it this weekend. I'm oddly excited about it.

Anyways, time to fix dinner. And watch Big Bang Theory.
