Thank the Lord

Kim would be proud. I have taken a moment to thank the lord for the energy to go on this week and for the small gifts. There are three things which have led me down this path in the past few days:
1) Legalines/Case Briefs: I bought one for my Civ Pro and Contracts and suddenly I can understand things. It's a great aide. I am not using it in place of reading nor am I copying the briefs and passing them off as my own. I am using them as reference for when I have the unbearable hours of not understanding what on earth is going on.

2) Taz actually slept through the night last night. First time in over a week that I have not been woken up multiple times in the wee hours of the morning. It's amazing what a good night's sleep will do for a person.

3) My parents came up to see me since I couldn't go down to see them. I was really bummed that I had to stay up here this weekend and work on an insane amount of homework. (Thanks Contracts, thanks). Yet my parents came up and saw me. It was really sweet and I know it was painful (literally) for my dad due to his shoulder, so it really meant a lot to me. They also brought me chocolate, which always helps a girl out.
