I have no witty analogy in the world of Mr. Monkey and the Chickens for my current situation. This is mostly due to my current situation. Thus I will speak of the analogy my high school physics teach once told me: The Bucket.
My Bucket if full. Well, perhaps that is too bold a statement. My bucket is at least full enough that when water is poured into it fast enough it spills over and doesn't stay in. Today in CivPro I had my full bucket moment. The Professor was off on a tangent per the usual, only this time I couldn't follow. This time my mind went blank, the water just poured out of the bucket. I tried desperately to pay attention and grab a few drops, but it was over, it was done, the bucket was full. Fortunately for me, this professor's rant was a summary of the past three weeks and really was just a waste of class time as we're already behind. But it did manage to make me realize my bucket is so full. Luckily I only need to hold on for a few more days and then, maybe the water will be able to be absorbed (not that most buckets do that, but unlike in high school science, I can't empty my bucket, got to keep that water).
I should have seen this coming as this morning I sat in Contracts and when I tried to make connections of material in my head, Mr Monkey kept throwing random crap at me. Honestly, until today, had not thought of the Saturday Morning Cartoon commercial where they say "after these messages...we'll be right back". Yet there it was, loud and clear. It was promptly followed by some random song from the eighties that I never listen to anymore. I swear Mr. Monkey was just frantically pulling things out of different drawers, throwing them in my general direction and hoping something would stick.
