Thank you Working Parents

I just got done watching a dvred episode of That 70s Show, season one. It was the episode where the kids go to work with their parents. Watching it reminded me of how very lucky I was to have two parents who worked so hard, while still remaining great parents, all with the hopes of bettering my brothers' and my own life. Mrs. Foreman reminded me of my mom, doing things that aren't always glamorous and working through very difficult situations and yet still having a great sense of humor. And at the end of the show, as Eric asked her how she did that every day, and she just kept singing to the music, I really truly saw my mom as we're both people who just put on the good music to help us through the days. Mr Foreman reminded me of my dad, as he dealt with having his hours cut back at work, and yet still managed to be a father figure to the other kids. Over the years I've seen my dad do the same when others have needed him. The episode really just made me think of all the parents I know who do so much every day, giving their all, and then go home and continue to give.

Thanks mom and dad. I really appreciate the laughs and the energy through the years. I don't know how you two do it.

I love you both!
