So random questions frequent my brain and this one just came to me as I was about to shut down to go to bed:
Why do we have Memorial Day(Observed) and Memorial Day? Should we not observe Memorial Day on Memorial Day? It seems like either today should just become Memorial Day (or you know, the last Monday of May each year is officially Memorial Day) or, we should observe it on the 30th.
I don't know the answer to this and I'm too tired to Wikipedia it (which I don't fully trust anyways).
