Let me get this out there quickly before I come to my senses: I realized today that the song says 'with boughs of holly' instead of 'bells and holly'. Yep, I'm a bit stupid at times.
I also need to give a shout out to my mom. She packed up leftovers and sent them home with me. I just ate a leftover bread stick from Olive Garden. It was divine. Only my mom would think of sending that up with the Thanksgiving leftovers.
I'm oddly excited to go to the doctor over my Christmas break. I've been having trouble with limbs going numb lately. And by lately I mean about six months. Finally it dawns on me I should go to the doctor. Diabetes runs in my family. So I figure I should at least get some blood work done. So I'm excited, not for the blood work, but what I hope will be some kind of answer as to the cause (even if it's just that I'm getting older and it happens). I wake up nearly every night from something going numb, be it a leg, an arm, my hand...and I'm not sleeping in any different position than normal. I even have my feet fall asleep when I'm working out at the gym. A little strange.
Following up the strange is more strange. It might actually snow here in central Texas. I'll believe it when I see it. But it is supposed to get down below freezing and thus I've moved my plants inside. The cats are overwhelmed by the amount of leaves to pull ate, chew at and generally destroy. I think the plants might have a better chance of survival in the freezing weather than inside with three kitties.
And now to get back to reading. If it does snow, does that mean I get a snow day on Friday? I'm feeling that's highly unlikely.
