There's just no good way to diet and study for finals. I mean, I've been trying really hard to cut back my sugars and caffeine lately but it was resulting in daily naps. So as I gear up for finals, I decided to give in a little to my food desires. I hit up the 100 calorie snack packs at the grocery store and then, as I walked past the ice cream, I saw my sweet savior: no sugar added, low fat Blue Bell. Seriously? Yes, seriously. I checked the sugar content compared to the low fat frozen yogurt. It was lower. Interestingly, the calorie count was lower too. Now I didn't dive in and buy a half gallon. That seemed foolish. This might turn out to be absolute crap. Instead I bought a pint. Having just finished a small bowl, I must say it's damn good ice cream. If you want to indulge, definitely give it a try.
I also bought some sugar free candy. Now I know all these snacks are not healthy, but I at least feel like I'm not giving completely in to my inner fat-ass. And I don't have to worry about gaining a ton of weight in the next week and a half.
