I knew as I fell asleep to the sound of water beating against my window that when I woke up today the oppressive heat would be gone. At least for today. Sure enough there was a delightful chill in the air. The wind blew playfully in that romantic fall way and there was a slight dampness in the air. I love this weather. Being the unusual lady I am, Spring is not the romantic time of year, rather it is Fall which makes me want to frolic through leaves blown in a chilly breeze. Spring just makes me shudder knowing the heat wave is coming. So as I walked to class from my car, dodging puddles along the way, I wanted to giggle. I also desperately wanted the B man here. This damp chilly weather begs for day in bed cuddling and watching movies or reading books. Instead I just sat through class, giddy to call him and hear his voice and see if Austin is blessed with this delicious weather today. It was, and he was thinking the same thing as me: cuddle weather.
Tomorrow I believe the weather man says the day will be sunny and warmer, but I know this was a lucky preview of what is coming soon. And I am very excited.
