One Down, Two to Go

I took my first law school final this morning at 8am. Well, technically at 8:24 as there was some delay. Finished at 11:24. Luckily I did not throw up (one of my professors told us that he'd thrown up before his first final). I don't really want to talk about the final except to say that I don't remember being this exhausted after my undergraduate finals. I came home and slept for two hours with every intention of waking up and starting to study for my final on Tuesday. This has still not happened. My head is throbbing and I really can't think too clearly. I went out earlier to go shopping and realized even that was not fun because in true I just want to lay in bed, watch HGTV or Discovery Channel and come in and out of sleep.
Currently I have the dishwasher going and a pot of peas on the stove (my hopes are that the protein from the peas will help calm my head down. Meat might seem like a better option but my stomach does odd things when I think of eating meat at the moment, so I'm not going to test that). I would like to say I would do something productive today since I am not currently studying, but that just doesn't seem possible. I think in a few hours, if my headache subsides, I will get out my CivPro stuff and attempt to study a bit. I'm not making any promises.
The odd part of this exhaustion: I didn't feel that rushed or anxious during the exam. While it was very different than other exams I've taken, it was only that, different. I didn't feel like I was beating my head against the wall or anything. But maybe just the anxiety that built up in that 20 minute delay coupled with the adrenaline was enough to produce this result.

Whatever the reason, I am through the first final. My next one is at 8am on Tuesday.

Time to eat peas.
